There are days when I wonder how I am so dumb.
I'm in medical school.
I made Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude.

But sometimes....

Sometimes, I do some really dumb shit.

March 9th. Cleveland.

The loss of a friendship through something that I don't even remember.

Am I proud of my actions (whatever they were)? No.
Should I have gotten that drunk? Again, no.

But what hurts is to know that a friend, someone I honestly truly loved, has cut me completely out of his life.

Yes, I know. I shouldn't have gotten that drunk. I shouldn't have done whatever I did.

But still...

A part of me is missing. A part I should have gotten rid of a while back, but a part nevertheless. There's a huge gaping hole that won't stop bleeding for a while.

So, no closure. No answers.
Looks like I'll be spending plenty of time crying into my pillow.
At least, until the bleeding stops.
